Prior to becoming a licensed Florida attorney in 2025, she worked for eight years as a paralegal in estate planning and probate law, gaining comprehensive experience from client intake through estate administration and distribution.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in December 2024, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Complex Litigation, and holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude, from FIU.
As an Associate Attorney at Veliz & Associates, Karina works closely with founder Ana Veliz on all aspects of estate planning and probate matters. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and is a licensed Notary Public in the State of Florida.
